Gus Nainu
Managing Director
Gus is the founder and Managing Director of SL3 Consulting. With over 30 years of consultancy experience across the UK and Australia, he has successfully delivered major projects while building and leading high-performing teams.
As Managing Director, Gus is responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of the business, ensuring excellence in project delivery, resourcing, and client service. He also drives staff recruitment, development, and organisational improvement, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability that defines SL3 Consulting’s approach.


Francis Huang
Associate Director
Francis is an Associate Director at SL3 Consulting with over 18 years of experience in the building services industry. He has led a broad range of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across commercial, residential, and institutional sectors, providing expert technical and project leadership from design through to delivery.
Francis is responsible for overseeing project performance and mentoring technical teams to achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes. Known for his collaborative approach and ability to deliver under pressure, he ensures projects are executed efficiently while maintaining SL3’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction


Jerico Santos
Associate
Jerico brings over 20 years of combined experience in both construction and consulting, with a strong local and international footprint. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed and delivered landmark projects across a wide range of sectors, including residential, education, aged care, data centers, fit-outs, health, commercial, and high-rise buildings.
His core expertise lies in providing detailed design documentation, project engineering, and technical reports at every phase of a project, from concept design through to construction and commissioning. Jerico is known for his meticulous approach to project management while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, ensuring seamless communication and successful project outcomes. His versatile skill set and hands-on experience allow him to navigate complex challenges, delivering high-quality results across diverse industries.


Andrew Croud
Associate
With over 20 years of extensive experience in the fire protection and building services industry, Andrew has established a strong track record in delivering certified fire safety and suppression system designs across a broad range of high-demand sectors. His experience spans high-rise residential, data centres, healthcare, education, correctional facilities, commercial, industrial, aged care, defence, and major entertainment venues throughout Australia, NZ, and the UK. He has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to the delivery of complex, compliance-driven developments including the International Convention & Exhibition Centre (ICC Sydney) and significant infrastructure and social housing projects.
Andrew specialises in the end-to-end design, certification, and delivery of wet and dry fire systems for complex and highly regulated environments. He is recognised for his technical capability in hydraulic calculations, 3D coordination, and compliance documentation, and for providing considered, practical advice that supports safe, reliable, and commercially effective project outcomes across all stages of delivery.
