Our Managing Director Gus Nainu, along with key members of our team were engaged as the Stage 2 and 3 Design Brief Writer and Technical Advisor for this transformative $480-$500 million investment by the NSW Government to reinvigorate one of Australia’s most revered and loved museums, Powerhouse Ultimo.
The proposed renewal would deliver expanded and refurbished exhibition and public space with a focus on design and fashion, presenting exhibitions that showcase the museum’s significant collections, international exclusive exhibitions and programs that support the design and fashion industries.
Penrith Stadium Redevelopment

Our Managing Director Gus Nainu was engaged by the NSW Government as their Technical Brief Writer for the new $309 million redevelopment of Penrith Stadium to create a superior 25,000-seat venue, supporting the growing population of Western Sydney with a modern space for sports events, live music, and entertainment.
Gus worked closely with the project design team and advisors to develop the technical brief for their tender process.
Powerhouse Parramatta

Our Managing Director, Gus Nainu held several key engagements during the early stages. The initial engagement with INSW involved acting as Technical Advisor during the international design competition phase, assessing shortlisted architectural schemes against the Stage 2 Brief, evaluation criteria, project risks, and the integration and performance of the proposed building engineering services.
Gus was subsequently engaged by Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS) to further develop the Stage 2 Design Brief and prepare the Stage 3 Client Brief. This work helped guide the concept design development and ultimately formed the basis of the Functional Brief for the internationally acclaimed winning architectural team.
In a final engagement with Infrastructure NSW, Gus played a leading role as Brief Writer in preparing the Project Brief that ultimately formed the Principal’s Project Requirements within the Design & Construct contract package.
